About MyNotary.co.uk

MyNotary.co.uk is an online directory of Notaries Public situated in the United Kingdom of England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Its purpose is to provide you, the site visitor, with quick and easy access to Notaries Public that are actively seeking your business.

Most registered (by The Faculty Office) notaries are included; but, many notaries work primarily as solicitors and do not encourage notarial work.  We have aimed to include on the home page interactive Google map, only those notaries that have expressly told us they want your work.

Legalisation and Consular Service

'MyNotary' offers a legalisation agency service.  We can deal with all the post-notarisation work on your behalf or on behalf of your own Notary Public.  We can arrange for your notarised documents to be taken personally to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) to be 'legalised' (have an apostille attached).  We will then arrange to forward the documents to wherever they need to go.  We also offer a consular legalisation service as and when required.

As it can take three to four weeks to legalise documentation if relying on the Royal Mail, please mention this service to the notary that witnesses your signature in case they wish to avail themselves of this service.  Note also that 'MyNotary' is familiar with the varying requirements of most countries and can provide expert assistance.
