Legalisation and consular verification can be arranged where appropriate and as necessary. Legalisation is the process whereby an Apostille certificate is affixed to UK issued documents by The Foreign and Commonwealth Office. I appreciate that notarial work tends to be urgent and am happy to fix appointments at very short notice, subject to availability.

Estimates and Charges
It is difficult to estimate in some cases how much time will be required to complete a matter, bearing in mind the variety of circumstances that may arise. My minimum charge is £80, No VAT is added, more complex matters will be based on a £220 hourly rate plus any additional extras.
Guidance as to likely costs will be given on receipt of instructions and sight of documents. For simple matters, I will endeavour to charge a fixed fee to include additional extras (disbursements) such as legalisation fees, postage, consular agent fees, courier fees, travelling expenses, translating costs etc.
Any estimates given will be based on the information available at the time and, although given in good faith, will not be binding.

Documents in a foreign language?
If the document is not in English, in some circumstances, I still may be able to certify it as long as I am satisfied that you fully understand the nature of the legally binding document about to be notarised.
Some foreign language documents do have to be translated; as your MyNotary notary, I can arrange this for you.

If you are travelling by car from the M55, follow the M55 and Yeadon Way to Seasiders Way in Blackpool. Follow Seasiders Way to Central Drive, take a right onto Hornby Road and continue onto Cookson Street to Topping Street. Turn right onto Deansgate and turn left onto Edward Street.
If you are travelling by train, the office is a 5 minute walk from Blackpool North train station. When exiting the station head north west toward the High Street and continue onto Springfield Road. Turn left onto Dickson Road, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Topping Street. Turn right onto Deansgate and turn left onto Edward Street.
If you are travelling by bus, there are frequent buses that stop near the notary public. Buses 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, 14, 74, 76, 84 are regular buses that stop near the office.
