Estimates and Charges
“We will tell you the fees in advance; however, there will be times when we are unable to say exactly how much the cost will be or the time needed to complete the transaction. Often it is helpful for documents to be submitted in advance by email.”
The minimum fee for notarising a document is £80.00 plus VAT. Some documents require additional due diligence work, for which, additional fees are chargeable. In order to provide an exact estimate of charges, we need to have sight of the documents and to understand any additional requirements (such multiple parties not signing the same time).
Addition fees would be any agreed-in-advance. Additional fees are incurred:
- Where documents need to be translated
- Where documents must be processed at The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (for the Apostille)
- Where documents need consular verification at the Embassies of the countries where the documents are to have effect
- Where documents are forwarded by courier to the client or the final destination of the documents

Documents in a foreign language?
If the document is not in English, in some circumstances, we still may be able to certify it as long as we are satisfied that you fully understand the nature of the legally binding document about to be notarised.
Some foreign language documents do have to be translated; we, at Notary.co.uk, can arrange this for you.
